Quilts of Valor

Quilts of Valor is an ongoing project close to our hearts. Many of us have strong ties to the military, and we put lots of love in each and every one of the quilts we create to make life a bit better for a member of our Armed Forces who needs a hug - bad.  We hold several workshops every year that are dedicated to Quilts of Valor.  Check our calendar to see the next one coming up, and then come and join us. A Quilt of Valor is usually done in some variation of red, white and blue. We have both men and women recipients. The ideal size is about 54" by 64", with a minimum size of 50"x60" and a maximum size of 72"x87". Fabrics must be 100 % cotton, of good "quilt shop" quality, but any pattern may be used.
