We are celebrating our 10th year having our quilt retreat, so this year’s theme is HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! !

# 1. Use white fabric for the background.
# 2. Use your CHALLENGE FABRIC somewhere in your block. REMEMBER WE MUST BE ABLE TO SEE IT.   
# 3. CHALLENGE  BLOCK FABRIC : Fabric will be provided by the Flying Needles at $.50 per 13” square.  You may order as many as you wish.  PLEASE INCLUDE $.50 FOR EACH SQUARE YOU ORDER AND MARK ON THE FRONT OF THE REGISTRATION FORM WHEN YOU REGISTER. You will receive your challenge fabric when your registration form and check is received.
#4.  The block must be 12 1/2” unfinished and 12” finished.
#5.  There will be two categories:   Applique  and  Pieced.
#6.  You may make as many blocks as you like.  All will be eligible for the first prize voting by the attendees.
#7.  A winner in each category will be chosen those attending the retreat. Winners will receive all of the blocks in their category as well as their own.
#8.  There will be a special drawing for all participants. All participants will have a ticket in their name put in a box for a drawing. From these names, there will be four special awards drawn. These prizes have been donated by some of our sponsors.
#9.  So... have fun and be creative for a chance to win some wonderful prizes ! ! !
